Bishop Gerard Frey dies at the age of 93

Bishop Gerard Frey, bishop emeritus of the Diocese Lafayette died today after a lengthy illness.  Bishop Frey was born in 1914 in New Orleans, LA.  In 1938 he was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of New Orleans where he served as a priest along with his brother, Msgr.
