Jeff, you’re too much

For the record, I don’t ever engage in bishop bashing because of the fact these men are in very public positions with a lot of pressure on their shoulders and also because I respect the fact that they are the successors to the Apostles, whether or not I agree if they should be. I do, however, feel it necessary to critique things bishops sometimes say if necessary.
A while back bishop Trautman wrote a piece for America Magazine in which he criticizes the new Mass translation as being inaccessible to the average Catholic. I’ve discussed this before here. I’m not going to say more on the subject as its old news now, but you can read the article here and use my com boxes to discuss. Also, read Jeff Miller’s parody here.
