All I can say is “Beautiful”

Tonight I had the wonderful opportunity of attending a Byzantine liturgy at the Carmelite Monastery here in Lafayette, LA. The Mass was absolutely beautiful, though I have to say I felt a little awkward not knowing what was going on and what to say when, etc. I noticed the removal of the filioque from the Creed as well as a few other things that were different. I have to say though, I much prefer Our Lord in unleavened form. I was impressed at the accuracy of their english translations. Their translations are literally how our texts should have been had ICEL not stepped in. Really and truly beautiful, but I much prefer my Roman Rite.
