Pro-Choice Rhetoric Leads to Violence against Pregnant Women and Children

September 27, 2006 UPI reports: “the mother … of a Columbus, Ga., teenage girl has been charged with trying to induce an abortion by forcing her to drink turpentine.

September 22, 2006 AP reports: “Police on Friday desperately searched for the three young children of a woman whose body was found in a weedy lot, a fetus apparently cut from her womb possibly with scissors an investigator says were found near the woman’s body.”

September 20, 2006 Canada Press reports: “A Maine couple accused of tying up their 19-year-old daughter, throwing her in their car and driving her out of state to get an abortion were upset because the baby’s father is black, and a Maine sheriff said Tuesday.”

September 16, 2006 Miami Herald reports: “a baby was born alive and later died at a Hialeah abortion clinic… someone at the clinic put the baby on the roof of the building when police first searched for it…”
