Posted November 25, 2003 , By Joshua LeBlanc

[[image:olmsted.jpg::left:0]]Today Pope John Paul II announced the appointment of The Most Reverend Thomas Olmsted, previously of Wichita, as Bishop of Phoenix.  The diocese has been without a bishop since June, when Bishop O’ Brien resigned from the post.  Congratulations to the people of Phoenix on the appointment of their new bishop!
