St. Patrick’s Day Tradition

Today, of course, is St. Patrick’s day. On this day one custom is to pinch those who aren’t wearing green. Where exactly did this tradition start? Here is an excellent article on the origins of the custom. Now the question must be asked, can we pinch blogs that don’t have green on?
