Prayer Request

UPDATE: Today is Saturday, November 17 and yesterday Mark had surgery on his lower back so I am back in Shreveport for the weekend. He is currently in a great deal of pain so I ask for continued prayers. Doctors are saying that it looks like there will be a 4 month long recovery process.
Please keep in prayer my brother Mark who was involved in a terrible single car accident this past Monday. He was driving to work at 3am in the morning and missed a curve while driving in the fog. He was rushed to the emergency room and later transported to Shreveport because of injuries he sustained to his lower back. At this point it seems that he is very lucky because the doctors have all said that he should have no feeling whatsoever in the lower half of his body but miraculously he does and has no loss of sensation whatsoever. We found out yesterday that he will require surgery to prevent any further injury. My wife and I spent Monday and Tuesday of this week with him in Shreveport and will be heading back this weekend. They hope to do the surgery this Friday with a 2 day recovery time in the hospitial. Please remember him especially in your prayers and also spread to your blog readers if you have a blog. Thanks to everyone who has prayed for him and sent me emails letting me know at this point. Any updates will be posted here.
