What I’ve been up to these days
Posted September 26, 2006 , By Joshua LeBlanc
Well, as most of you may have noticed, what I’ve been up to hasn’t been blogging. I have a lot of exciting new projects in my life that have been keeping me busy.
I’ve just finished my first course towards my M.A. in Theology and I’m excited to have it over with. Now I begin my second one and I’m already looking forward to finishing it. For me just to complete a project is a major accomplishment.
Since my wife Annie and I have moved back to Louisiana from Virginia we have not been able to get a place that has high-speed internet. Because of this, I pretty much don’t blog because I don’t get on the internet at home. You may remember that for the Catholic Blog Awards I did everything on dial-up and wanted to practically hang myself.
I’ve also begun doing a podcast with Fr. Ryan Humphries, Deacon Chris Decker, and Daniel Kedinger on catholicunderground.com. The focus of our podcast is primarily to discuss technology and how it integrated into the faith. You can generally find the a new podcast published every Monday morning. Check it out and add it to your itunes list.
Another big project of mine, and I mean big, is that my wife and I have been in process of purchasing our first home. After three years of saving we were able to finally come up with the cash and it also happens to be right across the street from where I work so the savings just in gas is worth the investment.(If you happen to be interested in pics, they’re viewable here) Because I’ll be living in the city, I will again have high-speed internet and so that will mean I should be blogging on a more frequent basis.
I’ll keep you all updated on how everything is going and welcome to the new Dei Gratia!
